  To Open the SoftLock clip

Ø place the tip of the index finger on the inside of the clip arc

Ø place the top of the middle finger on the bottom of the clip flat on the logo area

Ø place the thumb on the thumb slider

Ø gently squeeze the thumb and middle finger while pushing the thumb forward away from the index finger

Ø keep the thumb slider pushed forward and release the squeezing force 

Ø the clip should be open

To Close the SoftLock clip

Ø place your thumb on top of the thumb slider ensuring the thumb slider is pulled toward the arc

Ø place your middle finger on the bottom of the clip flat on the logo area

Ø squeeze the top and bottom of the clip until the locking tabs engage the top of the clip flat

To Place the SoftLock clip onto the fish

Ø secure the fish with the dominant hand (with bass clasp the back side of the jaw)

Ø with the SoftLock clip open position the bottom rubber tipped arm under the side of the lower jaw

Ø keeping the lower arm under the jaw rotate the SoftLock clip until the top rubber tipped arm is past the jawbone

Ø gently close the SoftLock clip

Ø ensure that the clip is able around the jawbone and able to slide on the skin

 for a demonstration on how to use the SoftLock Culling Clips 

Important Usage Note

· It is advised to practice opening and closing the SoftLock Culling Clips before the actual tournament day

· The SoftLock culling clips may not be able to securely hold on to every fish because of the fish having broken or deformed jaw, or the clips improperly placed

· User should not suspend any fish from the SoftLock culling clip as this may result in a broken or dislocated jaw, this is especially important with the older and larger fish

· User is responsible for  properly handling the fish at all times

· Always properly stow the SoftLock clips, we recommend using the SoftLock Storage Bracket 

o store out of direct sunlight

o locking the clips on a plate spreads arms out and voids the warranty

Warranty Disclaimer 

Thank you for your interest in the products from BrameStorm Inc. 

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship of the product for 120 days from the purchase date. During the Warranty Period, BrameStorm Inc. will replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. Shipping costs is the responsibility of the customer.

This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by: misuse, neglect, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. BrameStorm Inc. does not guarantee against injuries or damages from applying the SoftLock culling clip as some fish are preconditioned to thrashing or aggressively moving
